Bridge over I-95 at Exit 95 will be upgraded SMITHFIELD – The U.S. 70 Business bridge over Interstate 95 at Exit 95 will be reconstructed into a taller, longer and wider structure, thanks to a new $38.3 million contract. U.S. 70 will close four consecutive nights WILSON’S MILLS – A series of overnight closures for U.S. 70 in Wilson’s Mills are slated to begin next week. The closures are needed so a state highway contractor can set 10 concrete-reinforced girders for a bridge that will carry Swift Creek Road over U.S. 70.
