Celebrating National CTE Month

Students at Corinth Holders High School are embracing a future in Biotechnology. Rather than waiting to begin this journey after graduation, they are taking advantage of this tuition-free opportunity to earn a post-graduation credential while in high school.

In partnership with Johnston Communitiy College (JCC), Johnston County Public Schools' (JCPS) juniors and seniors have the opportunity to enroll in the JCC Biowork Pre-Apprenticeship. This program allows students to complete the JCC Biowork Continuing Education course where they can obtain the knowledge and skills to earn a Biowork certificate. The Biowork certificate is industry-valued and a gateway to multiple in-deman biotechnology and pharmaceutical careers.
