Johnston County — The Partnership for Children of Johnston County is thrilled to announce its inaugural Fore the Kids Golf Tournament, scheduled for Friday, April 4th, at the Country Club of Johnston County. The Partnership aims to raise funds to support programs and initiatives that enhance the well-being and development of children in Johnston County. Proceeds from the event will fund resources like parenting classes, training for the early childhood workforce, and children’s books. The event will include a catered lunch and prizes for the top three teams. Teams of four can register to participate for $400 at bit.ly/pfcgolf25. The Fore the Kids Golf Tournament will replace the Partnership’s bi-annual Raise the Booty Fundraiser Auction, offering long-time donors a new way to contribute while inviting new supporters to join the cause. “Children thrive when their needs are met, and they have nurturing experiences with a trusted caregiver,” says Partnership’s Executive Director Candy Scott. “Local support is essential for maximizing our reach to improve outcomes for children at risk of being unprepared for kindergarten.” Register a team, become a sponsor, or make a donation.
