Latinos Activate JOCO Crowns New Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County Court for 2025

 

September 15, 2024 - Selma, NC Latinos Activate JOCO is proud to announce the crowning of the new Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County 2025 Court at the Rudy Theater on September 15, 2024. This event profoundly impacted our community, celebrating Hispanic culture and the incredible talent of young women representing various Latin American heritages. We extend heartfelt gratitude to our generous sponsors for their unwavering support.

The 2025 Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County Court includes:

  • Aurora Michelle Granados Lara - Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County 2025 Tiny Miss, representing El Salvador. Aurora gave a captivating performance of traditional Salvadoran dance.
  • Madison (Maddy) Jeanette Clark - Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County 2025 Little Miss, representing Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Maddy wowed the audience with her lively dance to La Dueña del Swing. Special congratulations to Maddy for also winning the Photogenic Award!
  • Gabriela (Gaby) Gudiño-Coyt - Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County 2025 Junior Miss, representing Mexico. Gaby’s talent presentation featured a video showcasing her artistic creations, beautifully reflecting her heritage.
  • Olyian (Oly) Djzeelah Vann Huff - Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County 2025 Teen Miss, representing Spain. Oly’s talent presentation highlighted her passion for engineering, accompanied by a video of her creating schematics.
  • Diana Rivas - Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County 2025 Miss, representing Mexico and Honduras. Diana performed an emotional rendition of La Llorona that moved the audience. Diana also received special recognition for winning the Ad Sales Award!

“We are incredibly proud of these young women for their grace, achievements, and pride in representing their rich cultural heritage. We are confident they will have a year of success, growth, and inspiration. We wish them all the best," stated Debbie Herrera, Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County Pageant Co-Chair.
