KS Bank Celebrates New Full-Service Branch in Dunn, NC with Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

(SMITHFIELD, NC) – A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, June 20th, at 206 W. Broad Street in Dunn to celebrate KS Bank’s new full-service Dunn branch. Over 100 community members attended the event. The ceremony featured remarks from the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President Kristina Harrell, Mayor of Dunn William P. Elmore, Jr., President of the North Carolina Banker’s Association Peter Gwaltney, and KS Bank representatives Earl W. Worley, Jr. and Harold Keen. Reverend Matthew Cornett, Senior Pastor with Princeton Church, provided an invocation, and Darren Hughes, Administrative Pastor with Central Baptist Church, gave a prayer of dedication.
 
The new Dunn branch marks KS Bank’s tenth branch location and its first in Harnett County. The expansion into Harnett County coincides with the anniversary of the bank’s 100th year in business. President/CEO of KS Bank, Earl W. Worley, Jr., said, “We are solidifying our commitment to the City of Dunn and Harnett County and putting a permanent stake in the ground for this region. We are excited about the future of our bank here in Dunn and the role we can play in the continued growth and success of the greater Dunn community.”
 
Mayor William P. Elmore, Jr., echoed this sentiment, saying, “The city and surrounding areas are excited to welcome KS Bank to its new Downtown Dunn location. KS Bank’s dedication to community banking and excellent customer service will be a perfect match for this region. We anticipate the bank’s success and the prosperity of its new customers.”
 
Peter Gwaltney, President/CEO of the North Carolina Bankers Association, commented on the significance of KS Bank’s expansion, stating, “The expansion of KS Bank to Dunn is an exciting development for the bank and the community of Dunn. It’s reflective of the strength and health of North Carolina’s banking industry and the economic growth in the region.”
 
The new branch offers a full range of deposit and loan products for individuals and businesses. Customers can utilize in-branch and drive-thru teller service, as well as 24-hour access to their funds through an ATM. They can also bank online or via KS Bank’s mobile app.
