Johnston County Association of Realtors® Announces Launch of East Triangle Real Estate and Small Business School
The Johnston County Association of Realtors® (JCAR) is excited to announce the launch of its new educational initiative, the East Triangle Real Estate and Small Business School. This innovative school, owned and operated by the Realtor® Association, is designed to provide high-quality, comprehensive training and resources to both aspiring real estate professionals and established Realtors® seeking to enhance their expertise. The first class, Measure Like A Pro, will be a hands-on in-person event on February 5, 2025.
With the real estate industry constantly evolving and small business owners facing unique challenges, the East Triangle Real Estate and Small Business School aims to meet the growing demand for specialized education in these fields. The school will offer a wide range of courses, certifications, and professional development opportunities tailored to real estate agents, small business owners, and those looking to enter these industries.
“We understand that real estate is a multifaceted industry, and that ongoing education is crucial to staying ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies,” said Bonnie White, Chief Executive Officer of the Johnston County Association of Realtors®. “This new school reflects our commitment to fostering continuous learning and professional growth. By offering courses in real estate and small business, we can provide our members with the tools they need to succeed, while ensuring the highest level of service for our community.”
The East Triangle Real Estate and Small Business School will feature a variety of course offerings, including foundational real estate education, required continuing education to maintain a real estate license, advanced certifications & designations, business management strategies, and more. Classes will be taught by industry professionals and subject matter experts with real-world experience. The school will also incorporate flexible learning options, including online and in-person formats, to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
In addition to equipping Realtors® with cutting-edge knowledge, the school will also serve as a resource for small business owners, offering critical insights into marketing, finance, operations, and growth strategies. This dual focus will enable students to not only elevate their real estate careers but also build and scale successful businesses within their communities.
“We are thrilled to launch this school and are confident it will be a game-changer for those who are passionate about real estate and small business development,” stated LaRhonda Thornton, Chair of the Education Committee for JCAR. “Our mission is to empower our students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to thrive in an ever-changing marketplace.”
