KS Bank Promotes Tammy Mitchell, Hannah Keen to Retail Banking Management Positions

(Smithfield, NC) – KS Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of Tammy Mitchell to Senior Retail Banking Officer and Hannah Keen to Retail Banking Officer. Mitchell and Keen will split the management of the KS Bank branch network in these new roles.

Tammy Mitchell has worked with KS Bank since 2005, working most recently as the Senior Retail Officer. In her new role, she will be responsible for the overall performance and management of retail branch offices in Smithfield, Selma, Wendell, Wilson, and Goldsboro. In addition, Mitchell will oversee deposit administration by updating and maintaining deposit product offerings and services, supervise the day-to-day marketing functions for the bank, and manage and mentor employees.

Hannah Keen has worked with KS Bank since 2015, working most recently as the Cash Management Specialist. In her new role, she will be responsible for the overall performance and management of retail branches in Kenly, Clayton, Garner, and Four Oaks. She will continue to lead the delivery of cash management products and services across the bank network, oversee and direct activities of assigned branches to ensure profitability and operational efficiency, and manage and mentor employees. Hannah is a graduate of Leadership Johnston.

Tammy Mitchell resides in Princeton with her husband. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Math from Barton College. She was also a graduate of the NC School of Banking in 2009, Leadership Johnston in 2013, and earned her Accredited Banking Professional Certification in 2017. She serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Partnership for Children of Johnston County. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and visiting her daughter in Wyoming.

Hannah Keen resides in Smithfield with her husband. She has an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration degree from Wayne Community College. She also earned her Accredited Banking Professional Certification in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling to new places, and spending time outside at the mountains or beach.
