Junior Women's League of Smithfield Hosts 3rd Annual Friends of the League Event

Smithfield, NC – The Junior Women's League of Smithfield (JWL) is excited to announce its 3rd Annual Friends of the League event, taking place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Johnston Medical Mall, First Citizens Auditorium, located at 514 N. Brightleaf Boulevard in Smithfield, NC.

The Friends of the League event brings together community members, local partners, and supporters to highlight the incredible work being done in Johnston County and beyond. This year's event will feature keynote presentations from representatives of Cleveland Backpack Buddies, Period Kits NC, and Isaiah 117 House, three organizations dedicated to addressing critical needs in our community, including food insecurity, period poverty, and providing resources for children in transition.

We are thrilled to host our 3rd annual Friends of the League event and shine a light on the amazing partnerships that make a difference in the lives of Johnston County families. The mission of these organizations aligns perfectly with our commitment to empowering women and supporting our community.
