JCATS Named Transit System of the Year

The Johnston County Area Transit System received the Transit System of the Year Award at conference of the North Carolina Public Transit Association (NCPTA) in the small market rural category.

JCATS was recognized for its new micro transit service known as QuickRide  and the opening of a new operations center. JCATS was also recognized as a statewide leader in providing Medicaid Managed Care transportation.

The North Carolina Public Transportation Association represents 95 public transportation providers in the state.
