Triangle East Economic Development Foundation Receives Duke Energy Grant to Support Downtown Princeton Businesses
The Triangle East Economic Development Foundation has received a grant from Duke Energy to support the revitalization of Downtown Princeton. This grant aims to assist local businesses in making façade improvements, further enhancing the aesthetic appeal and charm of the town’s main shopping district. The façade improvement grants will provide financial assistance to businesses in downtown Princeton for projects that beautify storefronts, restore architectural features, and create a more inviting environment for residents and visitors alike. By supporting these efforts, the initiative seeks to attract more foot traffic, foster community pride, and stimulate economic growth in the heart of Princeton.
“This grant from Duke Energy is a tremendous opportunity to help Princeton’s downtown businesses shine even brighter,” said Maureen McGuinness, President and CEO of the Triangle East Economic Development Foundation. “A vibrant and visually appealing downtown is key to building a thriving community, and we are excited to partner with our local business owners to bring this vision to life.”
Applications for the façade improvement grants will open on November 25, and businesses located within the downtown district are encouraged to apply. Eligible projects may include painting, new signage, window enhancements, or other exterior improvements that align with the goal of revitalizing the area.
