Smithfield, N.C.- Johnston residents have one more chance to weigh in on a Comprehensive Trails and Greenways Plan for the County.The final public meeting on the proposal is scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Clayton Fire Station #2, located at 800 N.C. 42, Clayton, NC 27527.
This in-person session will feature presentations from County staff, who will walk attendees through the plan and offer insights on where Johnston County hopes to build trails. Participants will be able to learn more about where trail connections are being considered and share their thoughts on the recommendations before the plan is finalized.
