Johnston County Little League (JCLL) to Host District Softball Tournament at Archer Lodge Town Park June 19-21

ARCHER LODGE, NC – Johnston County Little League (JCLL) invites you to come out and enjoy youth athletics as they host the Little League District Softball Tournament at Archer Lodge Town Park June 19-21, 2026. Participating teams include Johnston County, Wilmington, and two teams from Durham. Divisions are split into 8u, 10u, and 12u.
 
Games begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19^th. Championship games for all divisions will be on Sunday, June 21^st. Winning teams will advance to State tournaments starting July 5^th in various locations across the state. State champions compete in regional tournaments, and the regional winners compete in the Little League Softball World Series, which will be August 2-9 in Greenville, NC.
 
JCLL (online at https://www.facebook.com/JoCoLittleLeague/) is a youth baseball and softball organization operating primarily out of the Archer Lodge area in NC. The league serves children ages 4 to 12 through multiple divisions, using fields located at the Archer Lodge Town Park and the Archer Lodge Community Center. JCLL programs include Tee Ball, Baseball, and Softball.
 
Johnston County will be represented in all 3 divisions. Johnston County is defending champions in all 3 divisions.

This is the first time hosting Little League Softball for Johnston County Little League / Clayton Little League will have hosted a district softball tournament in its charter history. 

 
Archer Lodge Recreation Director Chris Allen said, “Hosting the District 6 Little League Softball Tournament is a great opportunity for Archer Lodge to showcase our community and the outstanding recreational facilities we have worked hard to provide for local families.
