Most of you already know about the addition of our Goldsboro location to serve Wayne County and surrounding areas, but we wanted to share the completion of our Smithfield expansion project.
When we opened a little over 5 years ago now, we had hoped that we would be able to reach as many people as possible in Johnston County and surrounding areas to provide the best hearing healthcare possible to our community. We knew there was a need and we are so thankful and proud to be able to provide these services in our town so patients do not have to drive to Raleigh to receive top-notch audiology care.
With the county growth, there are more and more people we are able to serve. In order to accommodate our growing patient base as well as our additional services and team members, we were able to expand our Smithfield location! We are excited to share these updates with you!
When you walk in, the lobby will look a little different. Same entrance, same doors, same check-in, same smiling faces... just more space!
Hearing Aid Repair Options
We know better than anyone that your hearing is important for daily communication. Most repairs can be completed in our lab by our Audiology Assistant, Ella.
If you are in need of a hearing aid repair, here are your options to receive the fastest solution now with our clinic expansion! After you have tried the at-home cleaning and troubleshooting steps provided for you in the blue folder at your fitting and your device is still not functioning properly, CALL US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
Our patient care coordinators often can walk you through some steps or answer questions even before needing to come in.
OPTION 1: Appointment with Audiology Assistant
When you call in, our patient care coordinators will help with the next steps, which may include a same or next day appointment with our Audiology Assistant, Ella. There are often times appointment slots open for emergent repairs so that is why it is vital that you call ahead.
OPTION 2: Drop-Off Repairs
We do not offer walk-ins, so calling us first is the best way to receive the fastest care. If there are not appointment slots available that day or you did not call ahead, we do offer a drop-off option. You will be directed at check in to fill out a Drop-Off Repair Form.
If there may be charges associated with your repair, depending on your insurance or service plan, the patient care coordinators will let you know at the time of drop-off. Your Service Plan date is on your delivery receipt from the fitting appointment of the hearing aids. We will repair the device(s) same day when possible but definitely by the next business day, depending on the time of drop-off and availability.
Many patients now have used this service and we are glad to be able to provide it.
New Balance Suite
We needed extra space for our specialized balance testing and equipment. Did you know we also provide specialized electrophysiology testing for other hearing and balance disorders? We will coordinate with your care team to determine which tests are necessary for diagnosis and treatment options. There are many diseases, conditions and disorders that affect both hearing and balance for patients.
