Boys & Girls Club of Johnston County Celebrates Generous Gift from East Wake–Johnston County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

The Boys & Girls Club of Johnston County is honored to receive the generous support of the East Wake–Johnston County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., which presented a donation of $1,852 to benefit youth development programming provided to Boys & Girls Club members.
 
The check was presented to Club members, Club Director Kourtney Bowen, Assistant for Resource Development and Community Engagement Lynn Stanley, and Director of Resource Development and Community Engagement Kelly Blanchard by Teen Advisor Takisha Harper and distinguished East Wake–Johnston County Chapter members.
 
Chartered on September 8, 2024, the East Wake–Johnston County Chapter has actively uplifted youth and families through service and leadership. The chapter’s work is guided by the 2024–2025 program theme, B.I.R.T.H., which reflects the chapter’s mission and values:

  • Being Accountable – to ourselves and our community
  • Inspiring – our children through intentional and impactful action
  • Relationships – cultivating sisterly and familial bonds
  • Transformative Programming – delivering strategic programs with excellence

This donation reflects the chapter’s unwavering dedication to its tagline:

“The impact of this gift is far-reaching,” said Kelly Blanchard. “It will help sustain programs that serve over 200 youth annually through academic enrichment, STEM exploration, character development, and health and wellness initiatives. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and leadership of the East Wake–Johnston County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.”
