Join us for heritage and history in the making! We’re celebrating 40 years of the Ham & Yam Festival, and it’s set to be our biggest yet.
Start your morning with the Hog Trot and Piglet Stampede brought to you by Smithfield Parks & Recreation, grab a legendary Kiwanis Ham Biscuit, or a pulled pork sandwich from the Whole Hog BBQ Competition. With three stages of live performances, pig races, and local chef Christopher Lopez whipping up sweet potato masterpieces, there’s never a dull moment.
Explore the Kids Inflatable Zone, challenge your friends in the Adult Fun Zone (featuring Gelly Ball and Escape Rooms), or marvel at our mascots Hammy T. Biscuit and Sweetpotato Cassie being brought to life by a professional woodcarver. From antique tractors to a massive car show, the fun truly doesn't stop!
Grand Finale: After the festival gates close, head over to the Neuse River Amphitheatre at 7:00 p.m. for a FREE Sister Hazel concert!
Big Thanks to Agri-Supply, Stevens Sausage, Aruza Pest Control, WRAL, 94.7 QDR, Carolina Packers, Duke Energy, Amazon, Brightspeed Fiber Internet, Kornegay Farms, The Tarva Group, CarStar Auto Body of Smithfield, and our other amazing sponsors for their support, we couldn't have this festival without them.
