2nd Annual Celebrate Smithfield Invites Community to “See the World” in Downtown Smithfield

Smithfield, NC – Downtown Smithfield is set to come alive with color, culture, and community spirit during the 2nd Annual Celebrate Smithfield on Saturday, March 14, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This exciting, family-friendly event is FREE to the community.

Celebrate Smithfield invites residents and visitors to “see the world” without ever leaving town. The event highlights the diverse cultures and nationalities that proudly call Smithfield home, creating a day filled with discovery, connection, and fun for all ages.

Attendees can begin their journey by picking up a passport in front of the Library, then follow the flags to 19 different locations throughout downtown. Each stop will showcase a unique country or culture through vibrant displays featuring music, art, crafts, food, and interactive experiences.

From traditional performances to hands-on activities and delicious bites, each location offers a creative and colorful glimpse into the heritage of our neighbors. Participants are encouraged to visit each stop, collect stamps in their passport, and immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry that makes our community special.
