The Town of Selma, Parks and Recreation Presents the 47th Annual Selma Railroad Days Festival

Selma, N.C. - The Town of Selma, Parks, and Recreation will host the 47th Annual Selma Railroad Days Festival, Friday, October 7th, 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, October 8th, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 9th, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in downtown Selma, N.C.  

“The Town of Selma invites you to help us celebrate our heritage as a railroad town.  We want to make this year's Railroad Days Festival one to remember.  Our Town is excited about partnering with local sponsors to share the importance of the railroad to our community and celebrate the many cultures that now call Selma home.  Our new Selma Railroad Days Committee is working hard on one of Johnston County’s biggest events to make it a fun-filled weekend for all!” - Mayor Byron McAllister

Selma Railroad Days is a family-friendly event featuring a wide selection of different types of railroad-themed activities, artisans and crafters, vendors, a parade, Chew Chew Food Truck Rodeo, Selma Firefighters Association BBQ Cook-Off, model train exhibit, Hispanic  American Heritage Festival, the crowning of Miss. Hispanic Heritage Johnston County,  Junior Engineer Stations, kid zone, My Kids Club 5K run/walk, and much more! This festival offers 3 Days of fun and interactive activities for all ages. Admission is free! Tickets will be available for purchase for inflatables, model train exhibits, etc.
