Selma Polar Bear Run 2023

Join us in Selma Saturday, January 14, at 10:00 am at 110 E Waddell Street, Selma, NC 27576,  for the 7th Annual Polar Bear Run presented by Selma Parks and Recreation.  This is a pet-friendly road race featuring a flat course.  The race is rain, snow, or shine! Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the race start time. Registration is $25 a person; pets run for free. Pets must be on a leash or restrained in a cage or carrier. The race starts at 110 E Waddell Street.
 
Registration:
Register online, or in person. Walk-in registration is available at the check-in desk and/or at the Selma Parks and Recreation office located at 112 E Anderson St.,
Race Number can be picked-up at: 9:45 am on race day at check-in located at 110 E Waddell Street. Race packets can be picked up by a third party only with a copy of the participating individual’s ID.
 
Results and  Awards:
Awards will be presented to Top Runners who finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
 
Selma Parks and Recreation will be taking donations for Bailey’s Human Rescue. Items needed include liquid detergent, cat/dog food, blankets, or old towels. Bailey’s Human Rescue is a nonprofit corporation that hopes to eradicate the overpopulation and euthanasia of domesticated animals.
