NC DEQ - Secretary Biser Visits the Town of Selma
Selma, NC – Town of Selma officials welcomed the Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Elizabeth S. Biser, to Town on Friday, May 19, 2023. Secretary Biser is visiting the Town of Selma to be briefed on combined water and sewer infrastructure grants totaling $14.75 million.
Secretary Biser visted and toured Selma’s Water Plant Friday at 10:00 AM, followed by a wastewater lift station tour at Brack Wilson Park. At approximately 10:35 AM, the Secretary joined Town officials including Mayor Byron James McAllister for remarks and media at Brack Wilson Park, located at 1118 W. Oak Street, Selma.
