Mentors Needed for Seniors at Smithfield-Selma High School

JOCO Connectors Mentoring is on a mission to help JOCO students become career ready.

The JoCo Connectors Mentoring Program is an eight-month program for high school seniors at Smithfield-Selma High School who are interested in becoming career ready.  Our goal is to help local students learn job application and interview skills, develop a personal brand, learn from experts in several careers, realistically asses career opportunities and earnings, and develop a career. Students will participate in 8 instructional sessions from the JOCO Connectors Career Readiness Curriculum, covering the following topics: Self-awareness and team building, Personal and professional brand, Professional communication, Ethics and integrity, Diversity and inclusion, Critical thinking, Business fundamentals, Personal finance and Personal wellness

We rely on adult volunteers to guide, support and lead participating students for at least one year as they progress the JOCO Connectors Career Readiness Curriculum.

We are currently recruiting for mentors and sponsors, so connect with us today!
