Junior Women's League Presents Annual Big Night Out: Casino Royale

Smithfield, N.C. - The Junior Women’s League of Smithfield will host its annual Big Night Out: Casino Royale on Saturday, May 20th beginning at 7 p.m. at The Farm at 42.

“It’s not often we have big philanthropy events in Johnston County. So when we do, we want to go all out. Our goal for Big Night Out is to gather everyone together for a night of glamour and celebration, while also raising money to support the League’s many initiatives,” states Whitney Hosey, Big Night Out Committee Co-Chair. “With Casino Royale we’re offering our guests a night filled with jazz, food and entertainment at an amazing cost. There’s truly something for everyone, whether you play at the tables, support the silent auction, or simply come to mingle. What better way to raise money for an organization that makes such a huge impact in Johnston County,” adds Sarah Richardson, Big Night Out Committee Co-Chair.

The ticketed event will include a wide variety of heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts sourced with local NC ingredients (including gluten-free options), unlimited beverages, and a $5,000 buy-in to any of our Blackjack, Craps, Poker or Roulette tables. In addition to the prizes offered at the Casino, participants will have access to premier silent auction items. Novices and experts alike are sure to have a great time. Our professional Dealers and pit bosses will teach new players how to play and show them the basic rules while providing seasoned players with an authentic casino experience. Tickets are just $85 each and are on sale now! To purchase, please visit  www.jwlsmithfield.com/big-night-out.

The proceeds from this year's Big Night Out: Casino Royale event will help sustain initiatives like Student Scholarships, Professional Development Grants and JWL's Blessing Boxes and will fund future Community Impact Grants for nonprofit community agencies that render services within Johnston County. It will also afford JWL the opportunity to expand its reach with quick community impact grants such as those most recently awarded to Johnston County DSS, JCPS teachers, and "Coats for Kids" at Christmas for children enrolled at My Kid’s Club and Partnership for Children of Johnston County. The support of our community makes a difference in the lives of so many by providing funding for initiatives that have the largest impact on the needs of Johnstonians all over the county.

The Junior Women's League of Smithfield is also seeking sponsors for this event.  For more information about Big Night Out, or to inquire about tickets or sponsorships, visit www.jwlsmithfield.com.
