Classic Car Show & Ice Cream Showdown in Downtown Selma

Cruise your classics over to Downtown Selma on  Saturday, September 21, 2024, for a street-centered Classic Car Show event,  hosted by Southland Car Club. 

Classics arriving for display can begin checking in at 10 AM in front of 212 N  Raiford Street. The first 100 classics to arrive will receive a custom dash plaque  commemorating the event. Car enthusiasts and visitors of all ages can enjoy  classic cars on display from 10 AM-4 PM. Mayor Byron McAllister will award one  of the classics with the Mayor’s Choice Award at 3 PM. 

In addition to taking in the display of classic beauties, Old Fashioned Ice Cream  will host another Ice Cream Showdown from 2 PM-4 PM. Micheal Sneed, owner  of Old Fashioned Ice Cream, and his team will prepare to face off with other  Johnston County teams to determine who makes the best homemade vanilla  ice cream.
