**Celebrate Independence Day with Us!

Community Gathers for Family Fun, Food, and Fireworks on July 3rd!

Get ready for a star-spangled celebration! Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation is excited to announce its annual Fourth of July Celebration, a free, family-friendly event that will bring the community together for a day of patriotic fun on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

The festivities kick off at 5:00pm at Neuse River Amphitheatre featuring live music, food trucks, and activities for all ages. As the sun sets, the night will sparkle with a spectacular fireworks show at 9:00pm, lighting up the sky in honor of our nation’s independence.

Highlights of the day include:

• Live entertainment from local bands
• ?Food vendors offering classic American favorites and international flavors
• ?Kids’ zone with inflatables, and face painting
• ?Fireworks finale 

This event is a time-honored tradition that brings our neighbors together to celebrate the spirit of freedom and community. We’re thrilled to host an unforgettable evening for residents of all ages.

Admission is free.  Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and plenty of patriotic spirit.
