On Wednesday, September 25, 2013, Caroline Farmer, Deputy Director, NC Attorney General, will join us as our guest speaker to discuss the increasing problem of scams. The discussion will include practical steps that you can take to protect yourself as well as your clients. Discussion of requirements for your businesses will be referenced during case examples. This program also will include discussions on home repair scams, charity fraud, telemarketing fraud, investment fraud, online scams and more.
This free educational session will be held at the Smithfield-Selma Chamber at 1115 Industrial Drive, Smithfield, starting at 9:00AM. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. The program will conclude at 10:30AM. Light refreshments will be available.
