The Smithfield-Selma Chamber Education and Economic Development Committees will be hosting a forum for candidates seeking election to the Johnston County School Board of Education on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Johnston Medical Mall Auditorium in Smithfield. Keith Dimsdale, owner of Chick-fil-A in Smithfield and a past chair of the Chamber, will facilitate the forum.
Candidates will share their vision for the Johnston County Public School System and for education in North Carolina. The Primary Election is March 15th and the top 8 candidates will advance. Please join us on March 3rd to learn more about the candidates to insure your candidate advances.
