Flowers Plantation Farmers Market will be held each month beginning in April and running through October with a Holiday Market in November. Booths are available for vendors for $20 per a 10’x10' spot
- The location will be behind the new flag poles in the field at the intersection of Buffalo Rd and Hwy 42.
- Times will be 8am-Noon
- Each event item(s) must be grown, or made by the vendor, no reselling of any items will be allowed
- Vendors wishing to participate must reach out the week prior to get a spot 2024 Flowers Plantation
Farmers Market Vendor Information and Guidelines: Flowers Plantation Farmers Market Information The FP Farmers Market will begin in April and end in October with an additional Holiday Market in November The event will be held at the intersection of Buffalo Rd and NC Hwy 42 at the Flagpoles The fee for participating in this event will be $20.00 per 10’x10’ Space The Hours of Operation will be 8:00am-12:00pm Vendors must confirm their participation the week prior to ensure a spot for the weekly event Vendor Qualifications Vendors must be the original producer of the items they are selling. NO RESELLING WILL BE ALLOWED No applicant shall be considered a vendor until approval by Flowers Plantation All applicants must be carry all certifications, licenses and regulatory documents necessary if required to sell items Vendors must be set up, ready to sell at 8:00am to avoid traffic issues Products That May Be Sold Any vegetable grown by the vendor from seeds, sets, or seedlings Any fruits, nuts or berries grown by the vendor from trees, bushes, vines, on their property Any plant grown by the vendor from seed, seedlings, transplants, or cuttings. Bulbs propagated by the vendor Honey produced by the vendors bees Cut or dried flowers by the vendor Firewood cut by the vendor from their property Preserves, pickles, relishes, jams, and jellies made by the vendor Craft items which have been made by the vendor, no reselling of items Eggs and meat raised by the vendor *All food and product sold must meet state and local health regulations, as well as the NC Department of Agricultures general guidelines regarding products exhibited for sale at farmers markets. **All items must be top quality *** NO ANIMALS WILL BE SOLD OR GIVEN AWAY AT THE MARKET, NOR WILL THEY BE DISPLAYED BY A VENDOR Space Information, Tents, and Signs One space is a 10’x10’ area Spaces are $20.00 Per Event There is a limit of 2 spaces per vendor Vendors are to provide their own tent Tents must be tied and weighted down during the event Any tables, tents, chairs, weights, trash receptacles, etc… are the responsibility of the vendor. Flowers Plantation will not supply these items Tents are subject to the inspection of Flowers Plantation Staff and must be in a clean, safe working condition Vendors must be in the space, ready to sell by 8am of the Market Cleanup of the area is the responsibility of the vendor. Areas found to have not been clean will be subject to termination of future events The Market closes at 12, vendors are expected to stay until 12 and not have traffic in coming in and out of the vendor area Any food truck on site is required to supply a waste receptacle site for customers to utilize while visiting Vendor Rules and Expectations Vendors shall refrain from smoking or vaping while in the vendor area Vendors and their guests shall remain within the limits of the Farmers Market Be courteous to other vendors, guests, and customers while on site
