You're invited to our “Dare to Lead” Roundtable on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 4pm. You may be asking, “what new can I possibly learn about leadership?” I have read the books, attended the conferences, and been in a leadership position for some time. Yes, I know.
But how do you think about leadership? Do you see yourself as a leader based upon your title, role, or the location of your office within the company (window office)? Or are you the leader that takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential?
Regardless of how you answered the question, “Dare to Lead” will aid us in looking at leadership beyond our titles and the location of our office. It is my hope that we as women and leaders in the community will be willing to step up, put ourselves out there and lean into courage. Are you willing to make yourself vulnerable for someone else to reach their potential?
May's meeting will feature guest speaker, Sol Halliburton. Sol is the director of the Johnston Health Foundation, serves on the Triangle East Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors, and was named 2019's Triangle East Citizen of the Year for her leadership and service to the Triangle East region.
