You know the classic cliche: "the best laid plans...often go awry." After all is said and done, your inner voice is the most valuable navigational tool you have. That's your compass. Don't be afraid to use it. CWBN invites you its Spring luncheon to learn how to use your compass. Featuring guest speaker Lori King Lee, founder of Me Fine Foundation and a L'Oreal Paris' Woman of Worth Nominee, this event is sure to point you in the right direction.
Join us at our 2015 Career Advancement Scholarship Luncheon on Thursday, April 16th where we will be awarding our scholarship recipients. The CWBN is committed to helping women achieve their professional goals as they seek advanced degrees, certification, or professional development.

Me Fine Foundation
Founder
Lori King Lee is the founder of the Me Fine Foundation, a Princeton, North Carolina-based non-profit whose mission is to provide hope to critically ill children treated by Children's Hospitals in North Carolina and their families through financial assistance, emotional support and necessary resources, regardless of race, diagnosis, religious affiliation or economic status. Now 10 years old, the Foundation has placed Lee in positions that have expanded her work, including being named a 2013 L’Oreal Paris’ Woman of Worth Nominee and being recognized by the Points of Light volunteer recognition program established by President George Bush. While continuing to promote awareness about Me Fine, Lori’s personal mission is to help you realize that you are stronger than you know even during great loss and heartache.
After experiencing her own losses, Lori discovered her purpose and embarked on a path to empower others to realize their strength after life’s tough blows. It’s a journey that starts with the smallest movement and continues with a single step forward. One of the keys to surviving is in strengthening your resolve so that you can be of service to others in mind, body, or spirit, whether a kind word, gesture, or resource of time or money. That's what makes life worth living. Her inspirational journey in messages can be followed at lorikinglee.com.
Love, peace, and strength can empower you to #get back up when you’ve taken a tumble. Lori’s message will give truthful insight into how she has done just that.
