DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation is pleased to bring you Rhythm & Brews on Friday\, September 15! Join us for a fun night of singing and dancing in the street to the tunes of Idlewild South\, fun games and activities for all ages\, and craft beer and wine! \n\n\n\nIdlewild South\, The Allman Brothers Band Tribute\, is a band made up of talented veteran musicians. In the tradition of The Allman Brothers Band\, IDLEWILD SOUTH's live shows are a non-stop jam session. The set lists are different every night\, drawing from The Allman Brothers Bands self-titled debut album\, second album Idlewild South\, Live At Fillmore East\, Eat A Peach\, and Brothers and Sisters\, all recorded between 1969 and 1974. A few select songs from their albums between 1989 and 2000 are also included. \n\n\n\nLive music will start at 7:00 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Third Street. Bring a lawn chair and your family and friends\; this is a FREE concert for all ages!\n\n\n\nDrinks will be available from Double Barley Brewing\, Grapes & Grounds\, and SoDoSoPa. \n\n\n\nCome downtown early for dinner at one of our great restaurants: The Chicken Barn\, Gotham's Deli Smithfield NC\, Mucho Mexico\, Simple Twist\, or SoDoSoPa.\n\n\n\nWe'll also have free carriage rides from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.\, and the Howell Theatre - Downtown Smithfield NC has a great selection of movies on the big screen for just $4!\n\n\n\nStay downtown after the concert ends for drinks at Little Brown Jug\, Saddle Up Saloon\, or Simple Twist Taproom!
