DESCRIPTION:The Johnston Community College Foundation will host its annual Neal Lancaster-Four Oaks Bank Charity Classic Oct. 6-7 at the Country Club of Johnston County.\n\n \n\nProceeds from the event will benefit the College Foundation\, which supports JCC through student scholarships\, faculty and staff development\, program support\, and other projects and priorities.\n\n \n\nThe tournament on Friday\, Oct. 7 offers 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. tee times. A gala dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday\, Oct. 6 featuring a silent auction and reverse raffle with a chance to win the grand prize of $5\,000.\n\n \n\nPGA professional and Smithfield native Neal Lancaster\, Four Oaks Bank & Trust\, and Deacon Jones Auto Park are the tournament's major sponsors. The event will feature special appearances by Lancaster and Clarence Rose\, a professional golfer from Goldsboro.\n\n \n\nMembers of the 2011 Neal Lancaster-Four Oaks Bank Charity Classic Committee are: Jeff Pope\, chair\; Nicky Cox\; Phil Davis\; Don Duggin\; Pam Harrell\; Ashley Lancaster\; Neal Lancaster\; Denton Lee\; Ken Mitchell\; Jenny Stewart\; Steve Winborne\; and Earl Worley.
