Join us for inspiration\, food\, and fellowship! I hope you'll come. Feel free to share this information.\n\n\n\nProceeds from this and all CWBN events support the scholarships for professional women and their efforts to continue their professional development.\n\n \n\nFeatured Speakers\nModerator - Stacy Beard\n\nPublic Information Officer\n\nTown of Clayton\n\n\n\nOften seen around Town armed with both a still camera\, a video camera AND an iPad\, Public Information Officer Stacy Beard is charged with keeping the public informed about all that's going on (and there's a LOT going on these days!). She joined our staff in the Fall of 2012 and is the Town's first-ever PIO. She manages the Town's new user-friendly website\, all social media outlets\, media requests/relations\, and writes and produces content for the Town's 24-hour public access channel\, Town of Clayton TV. Stacy enjoys telling Clayton's story and engaging the public because it's an extension of her former life as a TV reporter. She spent 15 years reporting for network affiliates from the wilds of Montana to most recently at WRAL-TV in Raleigh. In fact\, it was several months into her job here in Clayton that Stacy learned she had won a prestigious Edward R. Murrow award for her reporting.  Stacy escaped TV to spend more time with her husband Cory\, son Spencer\, and Labrador Wrigley who loves walking Clayton's greenways every weekend!\n\n\n\n\n\nPamela M. Tripp\, MEd\, MSOM  \n\nChief Executive Officer\n\nCommWell Health\n\n\n\nPamela Tripp is a passionate healthcare culture expert\, mentor\, author\, and speaker. Today\, CommWell Health is a thriving healthcare organization receiving national recognition for service excellence and patient clinical outcomes\, offering medical\, dental\, behavioral health services among 15 office locations spanning 6 counties in southeastern North Carolina.  Most recently\, CommWell Health was awarded by Governor McCrory  for successfully completing  the First Milestone to the Malcolm Baldrige Quest For Excellence Award.  CommWell Health is the first community health center to complete this milestone in the nation.\n\n     In Pamela's newly released book\, The Culture Cure: Transforming the Modern Healthcare System\, Pamela shares her discoveries over 20 years as a senior leader and culturist in healthcare\, from proven research and hard-won insight  to reframe today's healthcare organizations for transformational excellence.\n\n     In the ACA environment\, Pamela brings enlightenment and innovation to the healthcare industry through reframing its culture and using its greatest asset\, the healthcare colleagues\, providers and leaders.  Pamela presently serves on Health Choice Network national board\, a network of Community Health Centers nationwide. She was awarded the first Presidential Founders award from Custom Learning of Canada for exemplary leadership in Healthcare. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and earned VIP status in the National Association of Professional Women. She is founder of the Johnston Community College "Women In Leadership" Endowment.  Certified as a  leadership mentor by John C. Maxwell\, Pamela has had extensive training and experience developing  leaders  internal and  external to her own organization.\n\n\n\n\n\nSusan Doyle\n\nDistrict Attorney\n\nJohnston County\n\n\n\nSusan began her public service career in 1994 as Assistant District Attorney serving Johnston\, Harnett\, and Lee counties.  In 2007\, she was first elected District Attorney where she quadrupled the convection rate of DWI cases in Johnston County.  Susan served as the President of the North Carolina Conference of District Attorneys from 2011-2012.  \n\n\n\nA graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Campbell University's School of Law\, Susan is committed to keeping Johnston County roads free of drunk drivers.  \n\n \n\n\n\nMelissa Blackmon\n\nDevelopment Associate\n\nDonate Life NC\n\n\n\nMelissa Blackmon is the Development Associate for Donate Life NC\, a non-profit who works to encourage all North Carolina residents to become Organ Donors.  Melissa's position at Donate Life NC is to begin their fundraising initiatives as well as spread the word about the importance of Organ Donation throughout the state of North Carolina.  Currently\, there are more than 3\,500 North Carolinians on the state transplant waiting list.\n\n\n\nMelissa began her career as a television news reporter and producer in Fredericksburg\, VA.  During that time she reported on local news stories and produced and hosted her own Fashion and Entertainment show.  She moved to New York City to pursue a career in Media Relations and continued that career while spending time in Boston and Washington DC.  Today she lives in Clayton with her husband Brent and their three children\; Max\, Jack and Sofie.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nHouse of Hope - House of Hope is a Christian therapeutic school\, home\, and counseling center for hurting and troubled girls\, ages 12-17 and their families. When there is a hurting teenage girl in a family\, the entire family is affected and the entire family needs help.
