DESCRIPTION:Meeting with a Meaning\n\n"Strong Women Making Women Stronger"\n\n \n\nThe CWBN would like to invite you to their annual Meeting with a Meaning Luncheon with professional women who will share their stories of family\, sacrifice\, accomplishments\, and the future.  Join us at this inspirational event and enjoy good food and a little holiday shopping while taking advantage of another networking opportunity.\n\n\n\nThe luncheon will be held at Hinnant Family Vineyards located at 826 Pine Level Micro Road in Pine Level.  Vendors will be open at 11:00 a.m. for shopping prior to the lunch.  Bring your business cards and don't forget the tissues as you are sure to shed a tear or two.\n\n\n\nProceeds from this and all CWBN events support the scholarships for professional women and their efforts to continue their professional development.\n\n \n\n\nFeaturing\n\n\n\n\n\nModerator:  Stacy Beard \n\nPublic Information Officer\, Town of Clayton\n\n\n\nStacy brings more than 15 years of journalism experience\, covering everything from city council beats to war-time deployments. Born in Philadelphia\, Stacy is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She's worked in television markets from the mountains of Montana to the coasts of North Carolina and spent seven years covering the military in Hampton Roads. Most recently she spent the last four years as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WRAL-TV in Raleigh where she made a name for herself covering human-interest stories\, severe weather and the John Edwards trial.\n\n\n\n\n\nPanelist:  Trisha Murtaugh\n\nVolunteer Coordinator\, Dress for Success Triangle\n\n\n\nTrisha Murtaugh was born in the UK. She worked with Eastman Kodak for 32 years in sales and marketing and most recently\, Director of Equipment Financing for US&C. Now retired\, Trisha is using the wonderful training and experience she received from Kodak to give back and help make the lives of other woman better. Trisha has been volunteering with Dress for Success for 5 years doing Image Coaching\, Corporate Engagement\, and supporting the PWG and GPN programs for Dress for Success. She is currently their part time Volunteer Coordinator and having a great time doing what she loves. \n\n\n\nPanelist:  Ashley Thomas\n\nExecutive Director\, Bridge II Sports\n\n\n\nAshley Thomas is the founder and Executive Director of Bridge II Sports\, Paralympic Sports Club\, a program designed to promote and create sports opportunities for people with physical disabilities.  Ashley was born with spina bifida and lives her life as a person with a disability\, developing strategies for managing life successfully.  She is married to James (28 years)\, mother of three\, Xan\, Jo and John\, a member of the National Parakayak Team through USA Canoe and Kayak. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPanelist:  Ruth Anderson\n\nGroup Benefits Specialist\, Legal Shield\n\n\n\nRuth Anderson\, has specialized in voluntary group benefits for the past 4 years.  Prior to that she taught Middle School and High School in Johnston County. \n\n \n\n She served as the Vice President of a Construction and Development Company\, and was the President of the Johnston County Home Builders Association in 1990 and 1991.  Ruth was Builder of the Year in 1989 and 1990.  She married her first and only date!  She and her husband have two sons - Russell and Ryan.
