She began her career as an Exceptional Educator in Fairfax County\, Virginia after graduating from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies. While teaching\, she received a Master's Degree in Education and Human Development from George Washington University as well as one in School Administration from Trinity University.\n\n\n\nDuring her career\, Becky has lead private and public schools in the District of Columbia\, Virginia\, and both Carolinas for students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. Her passions include suicide prevention\, homelessness\, and individuals with learning and behavioral challenges. Her position as Alliance Health's Community Education Specialist has allowed her to merge her love of teaching with her desire to advocate for underserved and at risk populations.\n\n\n\nIn her spare time\, Becky enjoys being at the beach and mountains with her husband\, Tony\, and three children\, Adriana (7)\, Evangeline (5.5)\, and Gianni (3.5). She loves Washington\, DC and University of Maryland sports as well as good books\, good food\, and good wine.
