This prestigious event highlights the creativity\, innovation\, and dedication of our public school teachers.\n\n\n\nEach year\, nominees are selected based solely on merit\, showcasing their remarkable impact in the classroom. The winner will be named Johnston County Teacher of the Year and go on to represent our district in the North Carolina Teacher of the Year competition.\n\n\n\nYour Support Makes This Celebration Possible!\nSponsorships play a critical role in making this event a success\, with much of the funding directly benefiting our semifinalists. All sponsors will receive special recognition during the ceremony.\n\n\n\nLet's come together to honor our educators and the passion they bring to shaping future generations. If you have questions or are ready to contribute\, please don't hesitate to reach out.\n\n\n\n2025 Keynote Address by Dr. Jennifer Burgess\n\n\nJennifer Crosby Burgess teaches writing courses and serves as  director for the professional writing minor and supervisor for internships in the English major at Meredith College in Raleigh\, NC.
