DESCRIPTION:Join us at the 2024 State of the Region Breakfast where our guest speaker will be Dr. Michael Walden\, a William Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor Emeritus and Extension Economist at North Carolina State University.\n\n\n\nDr. Walden is an expert in consumer economics\, economic outlook and public policy. He has published eleven books\, and more than 300 articles and reports including the books North Carolina in the Connected Age and North Carolina Beyond the Connected Age: The Tar Heel State in 2050.\n\n\n\nDr. Walden will focus on the big picture of where the local economy is for growth\, the job market\, inflation\, recession or not\, and more. \n\n\n\nFollowing his talk there will be the opportunity for questions and answers and discussion with community leaders.\n\n \n\nOur Annual State of the Region Breakfast is normally a SELL OUT event\n\nso register early as we cannot accept walkins.
