DESCRIPTION:The Johnston County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc. would like for your organization to join us on May 20\, 2023. Our chapter will be hosting the 11th Annual 5K Run & Walk "Taking Strides for Mental Health Awareness."\n\n\n\nAlong with our 5K event\, we are doing our 2nd Annual Improve your Health & Build Your Wealth Fair and a Blood Drive. This event is a fundraiser to support scholarships for high school seniors and community service programs benefiting Johnston County.\n\n\n\nThis year a portion of proceeds will benefit the House of Hope of North Carolina. This organization is a Christian therapeutic school\, home\, and counseling center for teenage girls 12-17 and their families that provide mental health services in Clayton\, NC.
