UNC Health Johnston Creates Mobile Outreach Unit
With the need for more accessible and affordable health care in Johnston County, UNC Health Johnston has created a Mobile Outreach Unit. This primary health care “clinic on wheels” seeks to treat uninsured residents in our community who are experiencing mild, non-emergent illnesses at zero cost. Referrals, vaccinations, labs, and medications are also provided as necessary. Patients 6 months to 65 years of age are treated by the Mobile Outreach Unit. Johnston Health introduces new name, logo - Change follows UNC Health’s rebranding launched in 2020
(SMITHFIELD, NC) – Johnston Health is changing its name and logo to more closely align itself with UNC Health.Starting June 1, the hospital, with campuses in Smithfield and Clayton, will rename itself UNC Health Johnston.
