You Can Ring the Bell
The Salvation Army is seeking volunteers to ring the bells for the annual Red Kettle campaign.. The tradition began in 1891 when a volunteer used a bell to get attention and collect donations for the less fortunate. The practice has since evolved into the iconic Red Kettle Program. Funds raised provide essential services like food, clothing, disaster response, emergency rent and utilities, senior and youth programs, and Christmas assistance.
