Carolina Packer's Bright Leaf Hot Dogs came in second place in the Coolest Thing Made in NC Contest hosted by the North Carolina Chamber. The hot dogs were beat out by Catamaran Boats. On the first day of fall semester classes, JCC welcomed 6,513 degree-seeking students. That is a 15 percent increase over last fall and a 61 percent growth in curriculum enrollment since 2021.
