About Us

Carrying on the legacy of our namesake, the Tiffany B. Autry Foundation assists children with alterations in mental, physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and developmental health, and their families access services, therapies, medications, procedures, devices, and any intervention which potentiates their comprehensive, holistic state of health and well-being. We strive to break socioeconomic boundaries and address social determinants of health that interfere with recovery, disease management, optimization of abilities, ideal quality of life, and adequate health literacy levels often faced by these children, their families, and the community.

Alarming Truths:
Nearly 3 out of 10 families with special healthcare needs children report having to pay $1000 dollars or more out of pocket monthly despite having Medicaid/CHIP coverage. Those with private insurance are likely to pay even more due to high deductibles.
Many health-related services for children with developmental, behavioral & cognitive conditions are not covered, leaving parents and caregivers to pay out of pocket. Programs like CAP typically have a long waitlist, so many families do not get the help they need. Oftentimes, when children get sick, hospital visits can leave parents having to stay with their child and out of work. This can have detrimental effects on financial security and the sustainability of basic needs for the entire family.
