Chamber Staff

Maureen McGuinness joined the Triangle East Chamber of Commerce in April 2022. Prior to that she served at the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce in Bethlehem, NY and the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce in Troy, NY. Maureen has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She grew up working for her father’s computer consulting firm. It was there she developed a passion for supporting small businesses. Maureen is the proud mother of two daughters. In her free time she likes to read and bake.

Kelly joined the Triangle East Chamber of Commerce team in 2002.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Technology from East Carolina University in 1992.  Kelly is a 2003 Leadership Johnston graduate, of which she served as program director for 16 years. In 2011, Kelly graduated from the US Chamber Institute of Organization Management (Athens, GA).  In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and wine tasting.  She and her husband, Mark, have two adult children, Jordan and Peyton. Originally from Charlotte, Kelly and her family call Clayton, NC their home.

Christie Lambert joined the Triangle East Chamber of Commerce staff in the fall of 2018. Coming from a background of freelance writing and marketing, Christie enjoys the daily opportunities provided by Chamber life to create and make connections. Outside of the office, her time is spent with her husband and three children.  Their family has called Johnston County home for fourteen years.

Born and raised in Johnston County, Christa comes to the Chamber from a background in paralegal work. Christa enjoys greeting and meeting new faces each day. She loves the feeling of unity among the towns’ businesses that the Chamber inspire. Outside of work, her time is spent with her husband and son.

Andy Thompson has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mount Olive and has been in the marketing world since 2009 in various capacities.

Andy and his wife, Angie, have two children, Michaela and Colby. In his free time, he enjoys outside activities, sports, the beach, and the mountains. Andy likes meeting new people and has a passion for helping the community grow and thrive!

Haley has always had an interest in all things social media, marketing, and communications. She has an associate degree in business management, and will be graduating in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in marketing with a concentration in social media from Southern New Hampshire University.

Haley is excited to assist staff members in expanding the online presence of the Triangle East Chamber and is looking forward to meeting the members of the communities we serve!
