Learn more ...\n\n \n\nJOIN US!\n\n\n\nWe are looking for participating businesses that want an opportunity to plant the seed in our future workforce by showcasing career opportunities\, inspiring future talent\, and promoting your industry.\n\n \n\nJOCO WORKS WOW: November 6 & 7\, 2025\n\n\n\nIf your business aligns with one of our Worlds of Workforce industries and you are interested in participating in this highly engaging and impactful event\, call for more information or click REGISTER to reserve your spot.\n\n \n\n\nWhat roles do sponsors play in making this a success?\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Prepare. Set aside approximately 18 to 20 hours of time to:\n\n	\n		\n		Participate in (2) planning and exhibit support calls with staff and other event sponsors\n		\n		\n		Mark two event days (November 6 and 7\, 2025)\n		\n		\n		Make a note that November 5\, 2025 is setup day.\n		\n	\n	\n	\n	Create an interactive hands-on exhibit that captures your career field. An exhibit is an activity that students can cycle through within the 25-minute time allotment (i.e.: a game\, simulation\, experiment\, etc. that would be appealing and exciting to 8th graders).\n	\n	\n	Gather your team. Find staff who will engage with students during the event. \n	\n\n\n \n\n \n\n\n\nJOCO WORKS is an industry-led collaborative organized by a group of private/public partners including Johnston County Public Schools\, Neuse Charter School\, Johnston Community College\, the Triangle East Chamber of Commerce\, Benson Chamber of Commerce\, and Clayton Chamber of Commerce to meet the Johnston County\, North Carolina workforce needs of the future.
